Genshin Impact was one of the best games of 2020 be it on console, mobile, or PC, and right now there is a Slime Paradise web event for PC players to participate in. While this web event has nothing to do with the main story, there are changes afoot with the upcoming release date of update 1.3. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact update 1.3 release date, and you’ll also discover the official new character banners.
We knew that the newest version was coming relatively soon thanks to miHoYo’s roadmap for 2020 promising that a fresh version would be delivered every six weeks. It’s unclear whether the Chinese developer will maintain the same pace and frequency for future versions such as 1.4 and 1.5, but there’s no denying they’ve been true to their word since November of last year.
The free-to-play title promises to be just as addictive throughout 2021 as it was for the second half of last year, and below you’ll find the release date for Genshin Impact update 1.3, and you’ll also discover the new character banners.
GENSHIN IMPACT UPDATE 1.3 NEW CHARACTERS
One of the new characters for Genshin Impact update 1.3 is Xiao.
While Hu Tao was expected to be one of the new characters for Genshin Impact update 1.3 alongside Xiao, the second featured banner will instead be Keqing.
Hu Tao was heavily expected to be part of the upcoming version, but she could still arrive in the same version later on according to insider NEP NEP.
The Xiao banner will arrive on day one and fans should know what to expect from his skills and abilities thanks to his inclusion in the closed betas.
As for Keqing, her banner should become available on February 17th with the arrival of the Dance of Lanterns event.
WHEN DOES GENSHIN IMPACT UPDATE 1.3 COME OUT?
The release date for when Genshin Impact update 1.3 will come out is February 3rd.
MiHoYo’s release date for Genshin Impact update 1.3 is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3rd, meaning fans have less than a week to wait for it to come out.
We and many others were able to predict when the upcoming version would launch thanks to miHoYo’s roadmap promising a six week separation between versions.
It’s unclear whether this consistency and rapidness will remain for future versions, but the good news is that the arrival of Xiao is within sight.
