Genshin Impact: Domain of Forgery

Domains in the world of Genshin Impact are mini-dungeons that you go into another person’s world and help them complete one; in return, you also get the spoils of the rewards. The first Domain you will unlock, apart from the 4 story ones that don’t actually count, are the Domain of Forgery, which unlocks when you have reached Adventure Rank 16 or above. Though they are called Domains, the proper name for them is Abyss Domains; however, to receive the reward in the end, you have to spend 20 Original Resin! You can walk away from it, though, and bask in the satisfaction of helping others.

The Abyssal Domains change their name on every day of the week, which changes the loot you get within, which ends up being a tad confusing! Here’s a guide to explain it all!

Domain of Forgery

There are three domains of Forgery. The first is located in Mondstadt. You can find it in the area called Wolvendom, There is a fast travel waypoint to the north, then from there, head west, and you should come across the Cecilia Garden Abyss Domain. Upon cleaning this Domain, it gives you Weapon Ascension Materials.

The second Abyss Domain is located in the Liyue region. Warp to the Statue of the Seven location at Mingyun Village, and from there, head north-west and Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula Abyssal Domain will be in that area. Upon cleaning this Domain, it gives you Weapon Ascension Materials.

The third Abyss Domain is located in the region of Inazuma. Teleport to the Grand Narukami Shrine then head north, down the mountain and the domain is there. Upon cleaning this Domain, it gives you Weapon Ascension Materials.

If you are having trouble finding the three of these dungeons. Just access your Adventurer’s Handbook, go to the Domains tab, and find either Celicia Garden, Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula, or Court of Flowing Sand and click on the little marker on the right-hand side, this will show you where the Domain is on the map.

Abyssal Domains offer a rotating set of rewards, where every couple of days, the name of the Domain changes and gives different specific rewards. In the Court of Flowing Sand, you will constantly be afflicted with a Ley Line Disorder.

• Ley Line Disorder
  • All party members’ Shield Strength increased by 40% percent
  • When a character obtains an Elemental Shard generated by a Geo Elemental Reaction, a shockwave will be unleashed, dealing Damage to enemies nearby.

Mondstadt—Cecilia Garden

Abyssal Domains offer a rotating set of rewards, where every couple of days, the name of the Domain changes and gives different specific rewards. In the Cecilia Garden Domain, you will constantly be afflicted with the Hydro element, which reduces the Element Skill cooldown of your characters.
